1. Paint Sealant

Diamond Ceramic With Graphene

Today’s factory applied paint ﬁnishes have a shiny top layer called “clearcoat”. Clearcoat provides a nice shine, but microscopically it is porous. These pores allow contaminants to embed themselves and deteriorate the clearcoat and paint. Paint sealant creates a transparent polymeric coating that protects and seals out the elements, producing a deep gloss shine and eliminates the need for waxing.

2. Interior Protection

The interior protection coating helps shield your vehicle’s interior surfaces from fast food stains, beverage spills, bleaches, dyes, mold, mildew, UV fading or discoloration and cracking of the dash. I recently had Paint Protection Film (PPF) installed on my brand-new 2026 Tesla Model Y by P&L Automotive, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I was really worried about visible lines or edges from the film showing up, especially on a sleek car like the Model Y, but I was pleasantly surprised—the installation was absolutely flawless. The film fits perfectly, with no noticeable seams or imperfections anywhere.
I did a ton of research beforehand and chose P&L because they use Llumar PPF. From everything I read, Llumar stood out as a superior option compared to many alternatives, including the film Tesla offers through their official service. (Tesla’s version lacks that top-layer finishing coat that Llumar has, which helps with better durability, hydrophobicity, and overall protection.)
Each PPF brand and installer has their strengths, but for my needs—maximum protection without compromising the car’s appearance—Llumar through P&L was the clear winner. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and delivered exactly what I hoped for. If you’re considering PPF for your Tesla (or any vehicle) in the Twin Cities area, P&L is a top choice.
