P&L automotive is a best in class supplier for rust proofing, noise reduction, paint protection, and window tinting. My wife bought a new car a year ago and I just bought a car. P&L provided the service for both vehicles and did a spectacular job on each. They're very well qualified for what they do and they charge reasonable prices, especially when you start comparing it to dealerships and other vendors. Give them a try, you'll be happy you did. The front staff at the desk is very personable, does a great job explaining what is involved with any of the processes and a pleasure to work with. I think her name was Linda. I just had paint sealant, rustproofing, undercoating and window tinting done on my new Pilot. My car was picked up at my home in the morning and returned by early afternoon. I was given detailed instructions on how to care for my car over the next couple days. The interior of my vehicle was even cleaned which was not part of my service package. This company went above and beyond. I highly recommend them!!

Just got my truck Monday and gotten a great warranty plan with rust proofing and underbody coating. Got my truck rust proofed and under coated with interior cleaned and protected today. I’m very pleased with their service and will definitely recommend and use them again!

Had an incredible experience with P&L Automotive getting my van set up for undercoating and rustproofing. I am also getting other services included for protective film, ceramic coating, inside protection, electromagnetic rustproofing, and windshield protection. They have many packages available so you can mix and match, or only one. They were a joy to work with in selecting their many services, very polite and no pressure. Vicky B was especially nice and accommodating, Paul, one of the owners, was very helpful, answered all of my questions, and helped to get me set up. No pictures yet, I am still in the process of getting the work done. I bought the van for my wife and wanted to make sure it was well protected from Minnesota elements. I would highly recommend P&L Automotive services.

I brought my 2022 Range Rover to P&L for a full protection package and a front end PPF package. I couldn't be more happy how Blair explained what each of the items cover. Especially the details how the undercoating and rustproofing will save me in the long run. My film also looks awesome! I recommend them for all vehicles and the service was top notch.

Everyone I worked with was friendly and competent, and their pick-up and drop-off service made everything very easy. Plus, they were done and able to return my vehicle far more quickly than I’d anticipated! Would use this business again.

I highly recommend this shop! I recently purchased a F150 and had P&L Auto apply a rust undercoating underneath the truck. They got every square inch covered and even got the hard to reach spots, like above the spare tire and the drive train. They even sent me before and after videos per my request. They picked up my truck while I was at work and brought it back within 4-5 hours. John in the service department called me and gave me the full rundown on how it went and gave me the peace of mind that my truck will be safe from rust for a long time now. Thanks John and P&L!

Went to get my Tacoma serviced for Inner Rustproofing, Undercoating, Paint Sealant and interior as well and I gotta say, I’m very impressed by how it turned out! It made my car like brand new again from everything, especially the smell that if which is like a new car Definitely worth it and would highly recommend anyone to come visit here for any service needed!

The quality of their products is very good and I’ve been happy with everything they’ve done on multiple vehiclesz Scheduling was easy and they give you a curtesy car. Only took a couple of days to have my car back. The only reason I give them a 4 out of 5 is because I had a really frustrating customer service experience between them and my car dealership. I purchased their full paint protection wrap through the dealer which was rather expensive. When I got the car to P&L we discovered that a good portion on the front had already been wrapped by the previous owner. At first I was told they could remove it and apply their product which I was fine with. But then later I was informed that they couldn’t. Since they were only able to partially wrap the car I was/should have been entitled to some level of “discount”. Getting this figured out was an absolute headache. Both my dealer and P&L said they were working together to figure it out but when I asked for updates, they each pointed the figures at each other which was super frustrating. After 4 months of this, many phone calls and trips to both locations, I finally received my “discount” which was about $300 off a $2,000 package…. Given they weren’t able to do around 40% of what was included in the package, this didn’t feel fair or right to me but at that point I was too frustrated to do any more about it. Again the product is really good and much of the service issue I had was due to an odd situation and on the dealer as much as it was P&L which is why I still give them 4 stars. My advice to P&L. you and my dealer touted your relationship and how you were going to take care of me when I purchased the car. Your owner was even visiting dealership at the time and helped sell me on the “titanium wrap package”. But then with this odd situation, instead of working together to find a reasonable solution, you made it my problem to figure out and we’re both pointing fingers at each other. It felt like i was dealing with two children and it really ruined my experience of working with both of you. I don’t know if I will use either one of you with my next vehicle purchase as a result.

Went there for rustproofing in 2015 or 2016 . And my rocker panels and cab corners rusted badly. I have rust warranty. Warranty denied even if i have 2 year coverage left. I asked PL if they rustproofed pickup box fender. They took truck back to bay and let me watch them apply to back fenders. No rust on back fenders. I suspect they just rustproofed doors only and skipped rockerpanel ?? DONT TRUST THEM WITH RUSTPROOFING.

Very pleased with the coatings and the simplicity of logistics to have my car treated. You can trust these guys!!

Update 7/25/2024. This is the third time getting services done here. Honestly, I’m not sure why I keep going back, but maybe it’s the fact that the Walser Toyota dealership has a contract with them. Anyway, I got my truck returned and it has so many scratches and John, the manager, is adamant about these inconsistencies happening prior to the car being serviced there. I have proof that the truck was flawless because I took photos right before Dale picked up the truck from my house. Keep in mind I just picked up the truck from the dealership yesterday around 5 PM on 7/24/2024. The truck was parked in the ramps since it was delivered from the factory and no one was able to test drive it, not even me since the dealership misplaced the car keys. I needed to put that comment in there since John was throwing all sorts of excuses as to why there were scratches and rock chips on the truck, but unfortunately for him I took photos of the truck, so his theory did not come through for him. DO NOT GET ANY SERVICES HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR CAR OR TRUCK RETURNED WITH DINGS AND SCRATCHES. Rustproof protection was very inconsistent. Called and told the receptionist about it and sent an email regarding the issue and nothing was resolved. Don’t get any services done here. Very unprofessional and nothing would be worth your time.

They partnered with the dealership where I got my new vehicle from for paint sealant, rust proofing and a few other services. Good communication. Very fast service! Only con was the strong smell of the treatments after the service but they did warn me about it and it should go away in a few days.

P & L did a fantastic job on my Santa Cruz truck, inner rustproof, undercoating, paint sealant and interior protection. They also installed the paint protection film on the hood, bumper, mirrors and for edges. Just like it came off the showroom floor, only much better protected now! I highly recommend them for your vehicle's protection.

Ok folks, I do not own exotic cars, Cinderella trucks, or second-mortgage battery powered devices. I buy a reliable car and hang onto it for around 10 years. Usually a boring Toyota. P and L paid as much attention to my little Corolla Cross as they would to the trust-fund brat’s Corvette. Most of us live in a world where we want our stuff to look good and last a long, long time. These guys help make it happen. The ceramic coat is terrific, the film was perfect. Be encouraged to cough up the $$ for your machine, whatever the type, to last through harsh Minnesota winters. Well worth it and will be a return customer.

I brought my new truck to P&L for rust proofing treatment. I was given a loaner vehicle which was very clean and a quick process. They called me as soon as the service was complete and I was able to get my truck back on my lunch break which was very convenient. All of the staff was very friendly and knowledgable. I would definitely recommend P&L.

P&L Automotive applied the paint protection film, rust proofing, paint sealant and interior protection products on the last three new vehicles I purchased. These helped greatly in keeping my vehicles in better than average condition, with normal cleaning and maintenance. I’ll bring any vehicle I purchase moving forward to P&L.
